The campsite was established in 1970 and was completely renovated in 2011, with new sanitary facilities, a large barbecue area, and a sand volleyball court.

There are canoe rentals and good fishing opportunities in the river that flows past the campsite.

Adjacent to the reception, there is a banquet hall and a farm museum, as well as a shop selling handicrafts.

There are also opportunities to purchase coffee, pancakes, and sour cream porridge. Buses and larger groups can order dinner.

Sirdal Ullstove has a shop with local handicrafts. Here you can order specially made blankets, sculptures, etc., for decorating businesses, homes, and cabins.

The campsite is open during the summer months, from May to August.
