SESILÅMI - Winter's big test of strength
Sesilåmi is a classic high mountain race from Brokke in Setesdal to Sinnes in Sirdal.
53 km long «lock» in classic style over the high mountains along the «leather road» (old trade road) from Setesdal to Sirdal. The race was the first gong held in 1976.
The race is a tough challenge where the highest point is at 1000 masl and the weather conditions can be challenging.
The name «SESILÅMI» means: SEtesdal to SIrdal LÅMI (trail).
