Falkefjellstøl is located between Risnes in the municipality of Kvinesdal and Sirdal.
Falkefjellstøl has a long and exciting history
as it lies in the middle of a route used by miners who moved from Sirdal to Knaben Gruver.
The hike starts with quite a demanding climb.
The little cabin consists of a room of a very simple standard.
There are three beds with mattresses for accommodation.
There is also a wood stove so you can shoot and warm up a little.
If you want to continue your journey to Tonstad, just follow the marked trail further west.
The trail is marked in red.
The best time to enter the trail is summer, from May to September.
