From the car park at the foot of Vardefjell,
you will walk a wide path across the bridge over the creek.
Then you come to a swamp, where there are planks to go through.
On the left, youwill  pass two small round ponds.

Along the way you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Ovedal.

At the top there is a small pond on the right.

If you want to choose an alternative route,
you can go north-west until you reach the observation point, where there is a view of Øksendal,
and then walk on the northern side of the mountain back the path.

The best time to enter the trail is summer, from May to October.
